Icy sky blue eyes looked up into the almost identical sky, which seemed as far as it had down on the ground. Slim fingers gripped the railing that kept the slender female from falling off the tower. Her eyes never saw the ground; seeming to always be looking up at the sky. This was only partially true, as she was also observing the surroundings of Hogwarts as well. Her gaze moved from the sky to the land, more specifically the lake. The sun was shining brightly, in the middle of the sky, and Céleste couldn’t help but sigh, a soft wistful sigh. The Black lake glimmered, shimmered, it sparkled. It was truly a sight to behold. Her gaze moved towards the Quidditch pitch, where the sun shone down on like a spotlight. Flying, playing Quidditch was Céleste’s release from the world. From everything. The sky was her haven, and she found her gaze on it once more. Some may think it was plain, just a blue that can be seen everywhere, if the clouds didn’t block it. Céleste, however, thought differently; the sky was beautiful to her. To her, it represented freedom; vastness. It was most beautiful, though, during the night. Perhaps she would spend the rest of the day up here; watch the sun set, which was absolutely beautiful, and then just gaze at the stars, as if in astronomy class.
The starry sky was beautiful; but then again, the stars were always there. It was just in the morning and afternoon that you couldn’t see them. Another reason why Céleste loved the sky so much. It had so many secrets, shown only at night, but hidden away in the day; it was like a mystery all in its own. A beautiful mystery. She didn’t know how long she had been standing there, just looking up at the cloudless sky; perhaps a few minutes? Or maybe even hours. She didn’t know. It was really just about half an hour or so; the sun didn’t seem to change it’s position at all. Perhaps it had, and she just couldn’t tell; but she shook her head. She would stay up there all night after all. With a small sigh, she moved back from the edge of the tower, and laid down near the center. There; now she would be able to see everything. Her eyes moved to a small cloud, it was white; pure, fluffy. As she continued to look at the lone cloud, she began to see a small fluffy kitten being made from it. A white cloud of kitten. She laughed slightly to herself; how ironic she’d see a kitty of all things. Her smile remained, though it was soft, as if barely there. The cloud was just like that; there, but lone, so barely there at all, if that made any sense. Probably not, she mused, as she continued staring up at the cloud. Still, even with it’s seemingly small significance, Céleste thought it added to the beauty, as only nature could. "And so what hides beauty is beautiful itself."
